Native Bush Honey

Honey Pot price: from $10.76

Native Bush Honey has a buttery texture and is a real family favourite.

Just like the cheeky fantails that flit through our native bush, this honey is quite a character.

An eclectic blend of native New Zealand florals, including Beech Honeydew, Manuka, Kanuka, Kamahi, Five Finger, Hinau and Lotus, creates a honey that captures the very essence of a bushwalk in New Zealand.

Taste

Not too sweet, with a mild, well-rounded flavour and a beautifully sweet “lip-smacking” clean taste. We affectionately call this one our goldilocks honey, because everyone agrees — it is just right.

Texture

A smooth honey with a buttery texture — just perfect for spreading.

Aroma

An aroma that is pleasant, fragrant and appealing. Floral and aromatic, with earthy hints of fresh rainwater.

Location

Sourced from the stunning waterways of the Marlborough Sounds and the beautiful Mt. Richmond Forest Park.

This is my go to when the hayfever gets going. A great way to help build resistance to the bush triggers and what a sweet way to do this. Tastes so good it reminds you of that bush walk.

Native Bush Honey reminds me of our travel from Nelson to Christchurch and Maori dance during our tour through New Zealand. The wonderful taste of Nature Bush honey reflects the beauty of nature of South Island.

I love this honey, it’s so multi-purpose! This is my go-to honey for baking while avoiding refined sugar for the kids! Great price for beautiful quality honey!

This is hands down my favourite honey. I live in Wellington now and keep a ready supply for making muesli and general snacking. This honey has a fantastic taste and in my opinion is much tastier than manuka honey and much more reasonably priced. The bush honey is great for cooking and excellent for eating.

This honey was a so much a surprise to me that I ordered more. It has a mild woody flavour that lingers just a bit and evokes images of forest wildflowers. I will surely buy it again.
